About SignMaker.top
Free online signature tools — no sign-up, no watermark, no uploads.
What this website is
SignMaker.top is a free collection of online signature tools. It lets you:
- Draw a signature with a mouse, finger or stylus, with smooth pressure-sensitive ink;
- Type your name and turn it into a handwritten signature using 10 signature fonts;
- Download your signature as a transparent PNG or SVG that drops cleanly into Word, Google Docs, emails and forms;
- Sign PDF documents by placing your signature on any page, right in the browser.
Every tool is completely free, requires no account, and adds no watermark.
Why we built it
Most "e-signature" products are heavy, paid platforms aimed at enterprise workflows. But most people don't need a workflow — they just need to sign something once: a freelance contract, a permission slip, a rental form, an NDA. We built SignMaker.top so that "I just need to sign this PDF" takes thirty seconds and costs nothing.
We also believe your signature is personal. That's why every tool here runs entirely inside your browser: your drawn signature, your name and your documents are never uploaded to any server. You can load the page, switch off the internet, and everything still works.
How it works technically
The drawing engine uses advanced stroke smoothing (the open-source perfect-freehand algorithm) to turn shaky pointer movements into natural, calligraphy-like ink. Typed signatures are rendered with carefully selected open handwriting fonts. PDF signing combines pdf.js for page rendering with pdf-lib for embedding your signature — all open-source libraries, all running locally on your device.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no subscriptions, no paywalls;
- No uploading or storing your signatures or documents;
- No watermarks on your downloads;
- No pop-ups, auto-playing ads or disguised ad buttons.
Legal note
The images this site produces are representations of your signature. Electronic signatures are legally valid for most agreements under the US ESIGN Act, UETA and the EU eIDAS regulation, but some documents (wills, notarized deeds, certain court filings) may require wet ink or qualified digital certificates. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice — please check your local requirements for high-stakes documents.
